Project no. CZ.04.1.03/3.2.15.1/0115, officially initiated on the 25th October 2005
The labour market develops dynamically in the field of art. Regarding creative character of artistic work existing structures and systems change quickly and are replaced by new ones. In connection with the dynamics demands on personalities able to work in these conditions change as well. Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts considers necessary to respond to changes in artistic environment and to improve its Dramatic and Music Arts Study Programmes constantly. The project aims at further quality development of newly accredited BA and MA study programmes by means of cooperation with professional artistic organisations the chosen representatives of which are partners of the project. Students of both faculties will attend artistic practice in the partners´ organisations. Afterwards partners will evaluate students´preparedness to work in real conditions. They will be able to express their demands on skills they expect the graduates from JAMU will have. Knowledge resulting from the evaluation of the students skills will enable JAMU to innovate study programmes with regard to employers´ demands. Another important activity of the project is the implementation of the system documenting how the graduates assert themselves in the job market. The system will be one of the basic instruments used to adapt the content of study programmes to particular and real demands on the JAMU graduates.
